The Nordic Summer School for Neurorehabilitation will contribute to knowledge translation from research to clinical practice. Outstanding researchers with clinical background are invited to provide an update of evidence-based treatment for all members of the neurorehabilitation team, which includes doctors, nurses, neuropsychologists, physical- and occupational therapists, speech therapists and others.

The summer school should also provide room for discussion and critical reflection on their own professional practice. An overall objective is to strengthen cooperation and networking between the Nordic countries and discuss common strategies for rehabilitation. The target group is experienced clinicians who can act as propagators for new knowledge in their own organization.

The summer school is organized by the Nordic Network for Neurorehabilitation in accordance with the guidelines recommended by the World Federation for Neurorehabilitation.

The summer school takes place every other year and was launched in September 2016.
